The aim of the dissertation examination is to demonstrate knowledge in the field. The student must demonstrate general knowledge of the sub-fields of the field. At the same time, he must demonstrate that his knowledge in the selected field corresponds to a deeper interest in the selected issue and therefore goes beyond the standard content and scope of the subjects of the given level of study. The chairman of the committee, the guarantor of the study programme, or the guarantor for the relevant field, will determine the literature that the student must study for the needs of the dissertation examination. The educational part of the doctoral study ends with the dissertation examination.
