The aim of the dissertation examination is to demonstrate knowledge in the field. The student must

demonstrate general knowledge of the sub-areas of the field. At the same time, they must prove that their knowledge in the selected area corresponds to a deeper interest within the chosen topic and thus exceeds the standard content and scope of subjects of a given degree. The board chairman, the guarantor of the study program, resp. the guarantor for the relevant area determines the student's literature, which must be studied for the needs of the dissertation examination.

Verifying the student´s acquired knowledge in a overall synthesis closing the study part of the doctoral studies. The student presents the substantial part of the theory of the dissertation thesis.
