The recommended literature is determined individually in accordance with the topic of the bachelor thesis.

Obtaining the required number of credits in the prescribed composition of the curriculum. The bachelor thesis is the result of the student's own work. It must not exhibit elements of academic fraud and must meet the criteria of good research practice defined in Rector's Decision No. 21/2021 laying down the rules for assessing plagiarism at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and its units. The fulfillment of the criteria is verified mainly in the process of training and in the process of thesis defence. Failure to comply with them is grounds for initiating disciplinary proceedings.

English language. In the case of foreign-language processing, the final thesis must contain a Slovak summary (resume) in the scope of usually 10% of the thesis scope.

Through the bachelor thesis the student will demonstrate mastery of the basics of theory and professional terminology of the field of study, acquisition of knowledge, skills and competences in accordance with the declared profile of the graduate of the study programme, as well as the ability to apply them in a creative way in solving a selected problem of the field of study. The bachelor thesis may have elements of compilation. The student will demonstrate the ability to work independently in terms of content, form and ethics. Further details of the Bachelor's thesis are determined by Directive No. 1 /2011 on the basic requisites of the final thesis and the Study Rules of Procedure at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice for the 1st, the 2nd and the Conjuct 1st and 2nd Levels of Study.
