 KPO/PVPS/10 - Pôvodná vedecká publikácia na Slovensku (monografia, vedecká štúdia, práca PhDr.): ku dňu obhajoby dizertačnej práce je povinné mať vydanú monografiu, alebo minimálne jednu publikáciu vo vedeckom (preukázateľne recenzovanom) časopise alebo zborníku, alebo obhájenú prácu PhDr. Pri uplatňovaní tohto pravidla platí, že ďalšia publikácia z "vyššej kategórie" môže nahradiť nižšie hodnotenú publikáciu.
 KPO/PVPZ/10 - Pôvodná vedecká publikácia v zahraničí (monografia, vedecká štúdia, práca PhDr.): ku dňu obhajoby dizertačnej práce je povinné mať monografiu, alebo minimálne jednu publikáciu vo vedeckom (preukázateľne recenzovanom) časopise alebo zborníku, alebo obhájenú prácu PhDr. Pri uplatňovaní tohto pravidla platí, že ďalšia publikácia z "vyššej kategórie" môže nahradiť nižšie hodnotenú publikáciu.
 KPO/PVPK/10 - Pôvodná vedecká publikácia v karentovanom časopise: ku dňu obhajoby dizertačnej práce je povinné mať aspoň jednu publikáciu, pričom sa vyžaduje prvoautorstvo alebo minimálne 40 % podiel v časopise registrovanom v databázach WoS, SCOPUS alebo ERIH+ (štúdia, ktorá ešte nebola zaradená do konkrétneho čísla časopisu, ale bola redakciou časopisu s konečnou platnosťou akceptovaná, môže byť splnením tejto podmienky v prípade, ak doktorand/ka hodnoverne preukáže jej akceptáciu redakciou, napr. prostredníctvom komunikácie s redakciou, či jej publikovaním spôsobom „online first“).
