 Students choose the topics of final bachelor theses in translation studies and linguistics in connection with the chosen module. The condition for choosing a topic from Anglophone literatures or British-American studies is successful completion of Student Research Project 1, Student Research project 2 and of the following courses History of British Literature 1 and 2, History of American Literature 1 and 2, British Studies 1, American Studies 1, History of Great Britain – selected chapters, History of USA – selected chapters, Media in the USA – American Film in Module 1 Submodule 1.2.
 Foreign language 1-3. Compulsory subject. The student chooses one of the languages: German, French, Russian and is obliged to continue it for three semesters.

To complete module 1, it is necessary to obtain at least 55 credits, 45 from sub-module 1.1 Skills, linguistics, translation and interpretation and 10 credits from sub-module 1.2 Studies. Student Research Project 1 and Student Reserach Project 2 must be successfully completed if the student wants to choose the topic of the final bachelor thesis from Anglophone literatures or British-American studies.
