Vo výnimočnom prípade môže byť na základe odporúčania garanta doktorandského štúdia akceptované aj potvrdenie redakcie, resp. editora alebo vydavateľa periodickej alebo neperiodickej publikácie registrovanej v databáze Web of Science alebo SCOPUS o prijatí štúdie na publikovanie.
