    <profilAbsolventa>Biochemistry PhD graduates are capable of carrying out an independent and
creative scientific work. They possess knowledge of scientific research and
development methods in chemistry, biology &amp; biomedicine, specializing in
examining the chemical composition of matter and fundamental processes
occurring in living organisms under physiological and pathological
conditions. The knowledge and skills acquired in the course of study can be
employed in a wide range of activities within biochemical and biomedical
research, clinical practice, operational and development laboratories of
food, pharmaceutical, agricultural and veterinary industries as well as in
commercial pharmaceutical companies involved with new drugs research and
marketing and many other areas such as information management or government
