Single degree study master Full-Time Computer Science Computer Science 7562 Magisterské štúdium 2026/2027 2026-04-01+02:00 2026-05-31+02:00 15.07.2026 - 31.08.2026 The graduate has deep knowledge in theoretical background and practical experience in key areas of informatics. Moreover, he/she has obtained skills in methodology and implementation of complex computer and software systems. He is prepared to work in teams and creative application of his knowledge. In accordance with his specialization, he has obtained specific knowledge in one of the following areas: Information and knowledge systems, theoretical informatics, neural networks, computer network security, or medical informatics. If the conditions for admission without an entrance exam are not fulfilled, the applicant may be admitted on the basis of outcome of Master study entrance exam, in the standard length of study of two or three years. The content of the entrance exam matches the content of a corresponding Bachelor exam of the study program, to which is the given Master study program connected and it's available on the faculty website. International students who will study in Slovak language are admitted under the same conditions as Slovak applicants, In the case of study in English language, they are admitted and are studying on the basis of a study agreement, which is concluded individually with each student. Applicant will be admitted without an entrance exam, if he fulfiled the conditions of Bachelor study program and completed the Bachelor state exam from required subjects which in the case of a graduate of other faculty or university are equivalent to subjects of state exam of corresponding Bachelor study program at FoS UPJŠ. Standard length of Master study programmes in this case is two years, The Faculty reserves the right to decide not to open a study programme in the event of an insufficient number of applicants meeting the admission requirements. In this case, the decision will be communicated to the applicants and they will be invited to change their study programme. If the applicant does not accept the offer, the faculty will refund the full admissions fee.
