Výskum sa zameria na identifikáciu rizikových faktorov asociovaných s ženským zdravím, pričom osobitná pozornosť bude venovaná vplyvu expozície environmentálnym faktorom, životnému štýlu a socioekonomickým podmienkam.3CieľENThe aim of the dissertation is to comprehensively characterise and analyse potential bioanalytical, environmental and social determinants of women's health in the Slovak population through the integration of clinical, demographic, epidemiological and bioanalytical data. The research will focus on identifying risk factors associated with women's health, with special attention being paid to the impact of exposure to environmental factors, lifestyle and socioeconomic conditions. The work will also include an analysis of the relationship between reproductive health and selected oncological diseases of the reproductive system. The role of social determinants of health (education, income, regional disparities, access to health care, reproductive behaviour) in shaping the risk of infertility and oncological diseases and other diseases of women's health within the region of the Slovak Republic will be taken into account.4AnotáciaENThe dissertation focuses on a comprehensive analysis of the determinants of women's health in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. The research will use an interdisciplinary public health approach, combining epidemiological and biostatistical methods with the analysis of bioanalytical and population data. The aim of the work is to identify risk factors and regional inequalities in the field of women's health and to provide data for the creation of preventive strategies, screening programs and public health policies. The work will integrate data from national databases (e.g. National Center for Health Information - NCZI, Institute of Health Analyses - IZA) together with demographic, regional and socioeconomic indicators at the level of regions or lower territorial units. The work will also include an analysis of the relationship between reproductive health and selected oncological diseases of the reproductive system. The role of social determinants of health (education, income, regional disparities, access to healthcare, reproductive behaviour) in shaping the risk of infertility and oncological diseases and other women's health diseases within the region of the Slovak Republic will be taken into account.4AnotáciaSKDizertačná práca sa zameriava na komplexnú analýzu determinantov ženského zdravia v podmienkach Slovenskej republiky. Výskum bude využívať interdisciplinárny prístup verejného zdravotníctva, kombinujúci epidemiologické a bioštatistické metódy s analýzou bioanalytických a populačných dát. Cieľom práce je identifikovať rizikové faktory a regionálne nerovnosti v oblasti ženského zdravia a poskytnúť podklady pre tvorbu preventívnych stratégií, skríningových programov a verejnozdravotných politík. V rámci práce budú integrované údaje z národných databáz (napr. Národné centrum zdravotníckych informácií – NCZI, Inštitút zdravotných analýz – IZA) spolu s demografickými, regionálnymi a socioekonomickými ukazovateľmi na úrovni regiónov, prípadne nižších územných jednotiek. Súčasťou práce bude aj analýza vzťahu medzi reprodukčným zdravím a vybranými onkologickými ochoreniami reprodukčného systému. The psychosocial and behavioral characteristics of adolescents contributing to their mental health will be examined, as well as changes in those characteristics, using four cross-sectional questionnaire studies conducted as part of the international Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children Study with nationally representative samples of 11- to 15-year-old schoolchildren. Qualitative methods will be used to map key factors influencing mental health, with an emphasis on experiences in the school environment from the perspectives of adolescents and teachers and practitioners. The project aims to provide up-to-date knowledge about the state of the mental health of the current generation of adolescents, which can also be used in the design of various prevention and support programmes and interventions targeting health support of adolescents.4AnotáciaSKSúčasná generácia dospievajúcich musí čeliť viacerým spoločensko-ekonomickým výzvam a krízam, ktoré majú dopad na jej duševné zdravie. Psychosociálne a behaviorálne charakteristiky dospievajúcich prispievajúce k ich duševnému zdraviu, ako aj zmeny v daných charakteristikách budú skúmané s využitím prierezovej dotazníkovej štúdie realizovanej v rámci medzinárodnej štúdie Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children na národne reprezentatívnej vzorke 11 až 15-ročných školákov. Kvalitatívne metódy budú využité pri mapovaní kľúčových faktorov ovplyvňujúcich duševné zdravie s dôrazom na skúsenosti a zážitky v školskom prostredí ako z pohľadu dospievajúcich tak aj učiteľov a odborníkov z praxe. Public Health Rev 45:1607175. 3CieľSKCieľom projektu je identifikovať bariéry a facilitátory otvorenej komunikácie a podpory zdravotníkov v kontexte incidentov ohrozujúcich bezpečnosť pacienta ako behaviorálnych manifestácii psychologickej bezpečnosti na pracovisku. 3CieľENThe aim of the project is to identify barriers and facilitators of speaking up and collegial support for healthcare professionals in the context of patient safety incidents as behavioral manifestations of psychological safety in the workplace. 4AnotáciaENPsychological safety in healthcare provision is a key factor in the quality of care provided, patient safety, and the good psychological condition of healthcare professionals necessary for the performance of this profession. Current knowledge about the perception of psychological safety in the workplace provides relatively little information about how psychological safety develops and builds, diminishes, or even destroys, which is extremely important knowledge, especially in the context of healthcare provision, where the deterioration of psychological safety directly threatens the health and lives of patients, as well as healthcare professionals. The necessary data will be obtained using a cross-sectional questionnaire study administered online, with the research sample consisting of healthcare professionals from various workplaces and positions.4AnotáciaSKPsychologické bezpečie pri poskytovaní zdravotnej starostlivosti je kľúčovým faktorom kvality poskytovanej starostlivosti, bezpečnosti pacientov a dobrej psychologickej kondície zdravotníkov potrebnej pre výkon tohto povolania. Public Health Rev 45:1607175. 3CieľSKCieľom projektu je lepšie porozumieť ako podporiť vnímanie psychologického bezpečia pri poskytovaní zdravotnej starostlivosti, pričom sa zameriame na otvorenú komunikáciu a kolegiálnu podporu pri incidentoch ohrozujúcich bezpečnosť ako behaviorálnych manifestácii psychologickej bezpečnosti na pracovisku. 3CieľENThe aim of the project is to better understand how to support the perception of psychological safety in healthcare provision, focusing on speaking up and collegial support during patient safety incidents as behavioral manifestations of psychological safety in the workplace. 4AnotáciaENOptimal perception of psychological safety facilitates speaking up among healthcare professionals during patient safety incidents, which allows for the prevention of adverse events in healthcare provision and is a basic prerequisite for a culture of justice and safety, i.e. a non-punitive environment of shared responsibility for the quality of care provided and patient safety. Part of the optimal perception of psychological safety is the belief that in the event of an adverse event in the provision of health care, the second victim, the health worker involved in this event, will be provided with support, i.e. will not be ostracized and left to their fate, which has adverse consequences for the mental health of health workers but also their professional activities (e.g. defensive medicine, leaving the profession) and subsequently creates conditions for the occurrence of further errors in the provision of health care. In order to experimentally verify to what extent specific elements of the intervention focused on barriers and facilitators at the team and individual levels increase the willingness of health workers to speak up and to support second victims in the context of patient safety incidents, several variants of the intervention program (including a control group) will be developed. To implement the intervention study, we will use the Center for Simulator and Virtual Medicine, and to evaluate the primary outcomes we will use scenario simulations and an objectively structured clinical trial (OSCE).4AnotáciaSKOptimálne vnímanie psychologického bezpečia facilituje otvorenú komunikáciu zdravotníkov pri incidentoch ohrozujúcich bezpečnosť pacienta, čo umožňuje predchádzať nepriaznivým udalostiam pri poskytovaní zdravotnej starostlivosti a je základným predpokladom pre kultúru spravodlivosti a bezpečnosti, teda pre netrestajúce prostredie spoluzdieľanej zodpovednosti za kvalitu poskytovanej starostlivosti a bezpečnosť pacienta. Súčasťou optimálneho vnímania psychologického bezpečia je i presvedčenie, že v situácii nepriaznivej udalosti pri poskytovaní zdravotnej starostlivosti bude druhej obeti, zdravotníkovi účastnému tejto udalosti, poskytnutá opora, teda nebude ostrakizovaný a ponechaný napospas osudu, čo má nepriaznivé dôsledky na duševné zdravie zdravotníkov ale aj ich profesionálne pôsobenie (napr. defenzívna medicína, opustenie profesie) a následne vytvára podmienky pre výskyt ďalších pochybení pri poskytovaní zdravotnej starostlivosti. S cieľom experimentálne overiť, do akej miery konkrétne prvky intervencie zameranej na bariéry a facilitátory na úrovni tímov a jednotlivcov zvyšujú ochotu zdravotníckych pracovníkov k otvorenej komunikácii a podpore druhých obetí v kontexte incidentov ohrozujúcich bezpečnosť pacienta bude vytvorených viacero variánt intervenčného programu (vrátane kontrolnej skupiny). The work will also include a complementary analysis of data obtained from the RomaREACH project, which focuses on children under three years of age, in order to examine potential risk and protective factors for mental health in early childhood.4AnotáciaENChildren's mental health is a key part of their overall development and quality of life, with social determinants such as socioeconomic status, family relationships, school environment and social support playing a crucial role in shaping it. This dissertation focuses on examining the social determinants of mental health in children aged 11-15 from marginalized Roma communities within the HBSC study. The research also draws on data from the RomaREACH study, which provides a unique opportunity to explore some of the factors in younger children (up to three years old). The work focuses on identifying risk and protective factors and their relationship to selected mental health indicators. The research results can contribute to a better understanding of the specific needs of this vulnerable population and provide recommendations for the development of effective interventions and policies to support the mental health of children from marginalized communities.4AnotáciaSKDuševné zdravie detí predstavuje kľúčovú súčasť ich celkového vývinu a kvality života, pričom sociálne determinanty, ako sú socioekonomický status, vzťahy v rodine, školské prostredie či sociálna podpora, zohrávajú zásadnú úlohu v jeho formovaní. Táto dizertačná práca sa zameriava na skúmanie sociálnych determinantov duševného zdravia u detí vo veku 11-15 rokov z marginalizovaných rómskych komunít v rámci štúdie HBSC. Výskum sa zároveň opiera o dáta zo štúdie RomaREACH, ktoré poskytujú jedinečnú príležitosť preskúmať niektoré z faktorov aj u mladších detí (do troch rokov). Práca sa sústredí na identifikáciu rizikových a protektívnych faktorov a ich vzťah k vybraným ukazovateľom duševného zdravia.
