As a young woman, I wanted to study psychology, especially in connection with difficult pre-start conditions in swimming competitions. As a teenager, I won the Slovak swimming championship. My love of swimming has lasted to this day, as well as my love of psychology. After years of studying, I found the most relationship with C. G. Jung and his ideas, which I try to transform into my life. After a while, I found out that in addition to mental problems, people suffer far more for various social problems such as unemployment, poverty, loneliness ... So I added my perspective and began to learn in the field of social work so that I was able to pass on as much knowledge as possible, but also attitudes to life, to my students. Learning makes me happy, although teaching online a little less, as I am a contact person and I feel more effective in transferring knowledge and attitudes in contact teaching. At the moment, I am trying to dedicate all my experience and skills, also to my students, who are already teachers, associate professors and associate professors in the interest of handing over the baton to the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Arts, UPJŠ. To date, I have educated several university professors, associate professors, assistant professors, hundreds of masters, bachelors .....

Project implementation period: 01/18 - 12/20

Position in the project: responsible solver

Brief description of the project: The ambition of the project developers was achieved: to examine the relationship between adolescents' loneliness and their risk behavior and to create a tool for measuring the loneliness of the target group. Research has shown that there is a correlation between experiencing loneliness and the occurrence of risky behavior in social work clients. At the same time, the team of the grant task proposed a tool for measuring loneliness as a possible preventive means in social work with clients.

2020-1414 UPJŠ internal scientific grant system in Košice

Project title: Creation of a questionnaire for measuring the level of self-care in adolescents

Project implementation period: 02 / 2020-01 / 2021

Position in the project: co-investigator of the project

Brief description of the project: The aim of the project was to develop and verify a validated questionnaire - a research tool for measuring the level of self-care in the target group of adolescents. A new integrative approach to the issue made it possible to open the space for the identification of phenomena typical of self-care in the client group's own social work with a praxeological dimension within social practice. The basic thesis of the project was the fact that self-care can act as a preventive factor of various forms of risky behavior and at the same time its strengthening can be a topic for social workers.

1/0754/21 Scientific Grant Agency MŠVVaŠ SR and SAV (VEGA)

Project title: "Push-pull" social factors related to the degree of radicalization of adolescents in the context of social work

Project implementation period: 01 / 21-12 / 23

Position in the project: co-investigator of the project

Brief description of the project: The main goal of the project is to compile a "push-pull" model of social and family predictors of adolescent radicalization and to verify the assumption that the radicalization process is influenced by specific operationalized factors. The project corresponds to the working fields of social work and the modeled predictors are influenced by its tools. It partially focuses on the exploration of the process of radicalization of adolescents in the conditions of the Slovak Republic and its identification. The result of the project will be a model of important social and family "push-pull" predictors of the process of radicalization of adolescents.
