Brief characteristics of the project:

The research team focused on the analysis of political and economic developments in the Czech Republic and Slovakia after 1993. The comparative method was used to examine the identical and specific features of the development in both republics in the field of economy, social sphere, human resources, foreign direct investments and also in the field of the development of the banking system. In the political comparison, the research focused on the formation of political parties, election campaigns, the development of the security system in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic and the comparison of the competitiveness of the Czech and Slovak Republics after the accession to the European Union.

Brief characteristics of the project:

The research task was focused on the analysis and research of the phenomenon of international migration. Currently, this multidimensional and interdisciplinary character makes it one of the most topical issues, which is being addressed as a problem not only by modern nation-states, but also by the most important international organizations. Research has confirmed that the issues of population movement, problems of coexistence have a significant contribution to the shape and character of contemporary democracy and will continue to have a dominant role in its future shape and development. The authors focused their attention on research on political or political science aspects of international migration.
