Brief characteristics of the project:

The aim of this project is to identify the positive and negative externalities of European Structural and Investment (ESI) funds. On the one hand, the existence of positive externalities may provide another incentive for using ESI Funds as fiscal incentives. On the other hand, negative externalities can serve as an argument for reassessing their use, as well as for improving mechanisms to support the proper allocation of financial resources within the Common Budget of Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) that will be needed to overcome the coming recession periods.
