Project title: Postmillennial sensibility in Anglophone literatures, cultures and media.

Implementation period: 01/2020-12/2022

Position: Investigator. 

The project aimed at creating intersections between male theories of the postmillennial cultural paradigm and female theories of postfeminist culture. Through the analysis of a representative sample of literary, broadcast media and Internet texts the project team tested the validity of still developing theories of the new cultural paradigm and emphasized more gender-based explorations of metamodernism.

Project title: Innovation of Methods for Developing Self-reflecting competencies of student teachers in practical professional training

Implementation period: 3/1/2017 - 2/28/2018

Position: co-investigator of the project

The project was aimed at determining the level of professional competencies of teacher students with an emphasis on self-reflexive competencies. The aim of the research was to find out, based on the opinions of practicing teachers of selected primary and secondary schools in the Košice region, the level of competencies of UPJŠ teaching students within the framework of practical professional training.

Project title: Global and local in postmillennial Anglophone literatures, cultures and media.

Implementation period: 01/2020-12/2022

Position: investigator. 

The project aims at creating intersections between the theoretical writings on globalization, the theoretical writings on identity and recent theories of the new post-postmodern cultural paradigm. This theoretical basis is used to study the tension between the discourse of globalization and the identity discourse reflected in the representations of the global and the local in postmillennial Anglophone cultural production.

Project title: Innovation of Teaching Practice at the UPJS with the Specialization on Targeted Development of Professional Competences of Future Teachers

Implementation period: 09/2020-08/2023

Position: co-investigator of the project

The aim of the project is to contribute to the improvement of practical professional training of students of teacher training programs at UPJŠ in Košice. The main objective is to more effectively link the university training of teacher students with practical teaching carried out within the practice of training schools and to define the scope and content of the portfolio of practical experience of the graduate of teacher training. Student teachers will gain practice within the framework of pedagogical practices, and implement the portfolio within the innovations of the output pedagogical practice. Supporting educational materials are prepared for pedagogical employees of training schools focused on the implementation of innovative strategies and teaching methods into the educational process at training schools.
