Project ID: 014UPJŠ-4/2021 Grant Agency: KEGA (Cultural and Educational Grant Agency) Project Title: Translation and Reception of Metrical Poetry as a Generational Challenge Duration: 01/2021 – 12/2023 Role: Co-investigator Summary: The project aims to stimulate interest among philology students in translating metrical poetry (structured and rhymed), which forms the foundation of global poetic heritage. Due to a sharp decline in translators of such poetry in Slovakia, the project seeks to reverse this trend by engaging young university students with strong linguistic and literary potential. Activities include lectures, discussions, workshops, competitions, and a web platform for sharing translation experiences. Project link
