I have been working at the Department of History since 2010. I completed my doctoral studies here and since 2014 I have been working as an assistant professor. I my research i focus on the economic, social and cultural history of the First Czechoslovakia, but primarily the history of motoring and transport. Sometimes, however, as I expand my horizons, I go beyond this frame and deal with Public History. I also have lectures and seminars with a focus on the history of science and technology, the history of art or economic and social history, and especially the history of motoring.

Hobbies
Besides my job :) Within the time available, I deal with historic cars and bicycles. In addition to scientific books, I like to read fiction or listen to good music, ranging from jazz and blues to rockabilly to surf rock or punk. I don't even despise classical music, but I'm not an extreme expert on it. I like to play guitar and try to do it as often as possible, because I think that music, especially if you make it yourself, helps ... for everything.
