Project title: Cognitive, metacognitive competencies, selfregulation and self-efficacy in university students in relation to motivation and achievement

Annotation: The research project focused on examining the level, structure of students' cognitive competences in relation to other key competences (competence to think scientifically and creatively, competence to develop their potential, competence to learn to learn as well as social competences) important during lifelong learning. At the same time, the research examined the personality and motivational determinants of these competencies, as well as their relationships to self-regulation, self-efficacy with an emphasis on the realization of development potential and achieving relevant performance in a specific area of ​​study. Self-developed as well as standard methods of psychological diagnostics and evaluation of competencies, self-regulation and self-efficacy were used as methods in this research project.
