Oksana Humenna has been teaching Slovak as a foreign language since 1998. She started at the Department of Slavic Philology at Lviv National University in Ukraine. She has been teaching the Slovak language to international students studying general medicine in English at UPJŠ in Košice since 2013. She participates in the organization and teaching of general Slovak language courses for international students studying at UPJŠ in Košice. She is currently focusing on teaching Slovak as a foreign language to Slavs (with a focus on medicine). She has long been involved in translation and interpreting (Slovak-Ukrainian).
