The project registration number and the full name of the organisation that awarded the grant: H2020 Name of the project: Understand the Dimensions of Organised Crime and Terrorist Networks for Developing Effective and Efficient Security Solutions for First-line-practitioners and Professionals, Acronim : TAKEDOWN Project implementation period: 06/2016 - 05/2019 Status in the project: Co-researcher Brief characteristics of the project: The project aimed to understand the dimensions of organized crime and terrorist networks in order to develop effective security solutions for professionals on the front lines of the fight against terrorism and organized crime. The project mapped the area of legislation and institutions focused on the fight against terrorism and organized crime in individual EU countries. Cases of terrorist attacks and organized crime activities were mapped. |

The area of interest was the Hornád River basin. Within the project, data was collected on the locations of cities and municipalities at risk of flooding /number of people, endangered objects, capacities for resolving crisis situations/. |
