Veronika Pálová is a lector of Slovak language for international students. She holds an M. A. from the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia, where she studied Teaching of Slovak Language and Literature and English Language and Literature. She provides courses of Slovak language for international students studying mostly general medicine in English. In addition to compulsory courses, she specialises in compulsory elective and elective courses. Her resume also includes courses of Slovak language for students studying dental medicine, general Slovak language, and medical English. She is also a translator for Slovak as a Foreign Language Section. She is a co-author of the academic textbook Pán doktor, hovoríte po slovensky? and co-author of the academic workbook Pán doktor, rozumiete po slovensky? for international students studying general medicine in English. She is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree programme. Her research focuses on translation criticism.
