Viktória Mária Slovenská holds a master´s degree from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, where she studied at the Department od British and American studies. She is a lecturer of English language at the Language training centre, Faculty of Arts, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice since 2019. She specialises in teaching English language for specific purposes, especially teaching medical English, but also English for natural sciences, public administration or politology. She is also studying for her PhD degree. Her research is focused on the use of nominalizations in Medical English.

Project title: Creating e-learning support and designing an e-course in LMS Moodle for teaching English for specific purposes to students of the Faculty of Science, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.

Annotation: The project aimed to provide e-learning support by designing an electronic course with modules focused on English for specific purposes of natural sciences of the study programmes at the Faculty of Science. The main objective of the project was to implement e-learning methods in traditional foreign language instruction and help transform the teaching of English for academic and specific purposes to bachelor-degree Faculty of Science students and make it more effective. The project helps to enhance students´ language skills by providing e-learning support which enables students to systematically obtain and improve linguistic skills and knowledge for the purposes of natural sciences also in a self-study manner.
