Gabriela Kravčáková is an associate professor at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Faculty of Public Administration. She is the head of the Department of Social Studies. He is professionally interested in the issues of Human Resource Management. She received her habilitation in Management from Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Management. At the faculty, the person responsible for the profile Course Organizational behavior (study program EVS, I. level) and the profile Course of Human Resources Mnagement in Public Administration (study program VS, II. Level, external form of teaching). Provides compulsory subjects Organizational behavior (study program VS, I. degree) and Human Resources Management in Public administration (study program VS, II degree). Scientific research focuses on the issue of Human Resource Management. She was the solver of 7 research projects, of which in 2 projects she was the leader and in 2 the deputy project leader. He is currently involved in solving 1 scientific project. She is the author of 96 publications, of which 2 monographs and 3 university textbooks. It recorded 236 responses, including 16 in publications registered in the Web of Science citation indexes and in the SCOPUS database. She is the supervisor of final theses. Under her leadership, 4 doctoral students successfully completed their doctoral studies. She is a member of the Scientific Board of FVS UPJŠ in Košice, a member of the doctoral study committee in the field of public policy and public administration and a member of the Council of the European Public Administration and European Public Administration study program in English and German. She is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal Journal of Human Resource Management and a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal Public Administration and Society. She completed Erasmus mobility four times. She was awarded the commemorative medal of the Faculty of Public Administration UPJŠ in Košice for a significant contribution to the development of the faculty.

Name of the project: Environmental attitudes, pro-environmental behaviour and its promotion

Project summary: In the context of the Green Transition, people need to feel a personal responsibility to act to limit climate change. The aim of the project is to explore environmental attitudes and pro-environmental behavior and to increase pro-environmental behavior in the workplace using behavioral interventions. The project will focus on the analysis of environmental factors with respect to selected demographic characteristics, psychological characteristics and politics. In relation to this, the researchers will study how organizations in the public and private sectors promote pro-environmental behavior in the work environment, both from an organizational and employee perspective.
