I am a sociologist and a long-time university educator. Currently, I focus on research of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and their impact on society. I pay attention to issues such as network society, non-human actor, dramaturgical approach to self-presentation on social networks, character of work in digital society, etc. In the recent past, I have dealt with the topics of civic participation, radicalization in society, methodology of evaluative and participatory quantitative and qualitative research. I have spoken at several international and domestic conferences and published in international and domestic conference proceedings and journals. I am the co-author of three scientific monographs: Cooperative Education of Children and Seniors in Residential Facilities, Evaluation as an Innovative Tool for Public Policy Assessment (expert consulting services - application of evaluation approach), and Foreign Students of Higher Education - Adaptation to Study and Work in Slovakia. I am also the co-author of university textbooks Ethics of Science and Technology (selected problems), Competences and Adaptation to the Slovak Labor Market, and the author of textbooks Basics of Empirical Research for Andragogues. I have collaborated on the preparation of community strategies at regional and local levels, as well as with the World Bank on the preparation of projects aimed at improving the integration of marginalized Roma. I am a member of the Committee of the Slovak Sociological Society at the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Chair of its Eastern Slovak Branch.
