PhDr. Milan Dousa, PhD. (FVS UPJŠ in Košice) works as an assistant professor and researcher at the Department of Economics and Public Administration Management, Faculty of Public Administration, Pavel Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. He has finished his doctoral studies at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice in the branch of study 3.1.7. Public Policy and Public Administration. In 2021, he successfully defended his dissertation thesis on the topic “Sustainable urban development in the Slovak Republic”. During his PhD. he completed 2 months of research mobility at The Auckland University, New Zealand. His scientific work is focused on the research of sustainable development and the concept of smart cities. He also researches issues of strategic and crisis management in Slovakia. As part of his pedagogical activities, he conducts seminars and lectures on the subjects of management of EU organizations, management in public administration and public sector economics. So far he has published about 39 publications, of which several publications were indexed in various prestigious scientific databases. He has cooperated on several successful scientific research projects and grants as a co-investigator.
