JUDr. Robert Gyuri, PhD. has been working since 2007 as an assistant professor at the Department of Public Law, Faculty of Public Administration, Pavel Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. He received his law degree at the Faculty of Law of Pavel Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (2006). He passed a rigorous examination in the field of law and defense of rigorous work at the Faculty of Law of Pavel Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (2007). He completed his doctoral studies in the field of administrative law and the defense of his dissertation on the topic of Cultural Administration with special regard to the church and religious societies at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava (2013). It focuses its scientific research activities primarily on the area of ​​religious freedom and the legal status of churches and religious societies. During his work so far, he has co-solved several domestic and foreign grant tasks. Within the framework of pedagogical activities, he conducts lectures and seminars on the subjects of substantive administrative law, internal administration, organization and activity of public administration, theory of the state and law, etc. He is a member of the Society for Ecclesiastical Law in Prague and the Association of Polish Canonists in Lublin (Stowarzyszenie Kanonistów Polskich).
