MUDr. Beatrica Köváryová has worked in the medical profession of a doctor in a specialist discipline of general medical practice since graduating from LF UPJŠ in Košice in 1983 when she was incorporated into a specialist discipline of general medical practice. In 1986 she obtained first-grade attestation and was included into second-grade specialized preparation and follow-up specialization in a discipline of general medical practice. In 1994 she was educated in basic homeopathy, acquiring an international diploma. Since 1995 she has worked as a general practitioner for adults at a non-state medical facility in Košice. In 2001 she took a course in treatment of depressive disorders. in 2003 she obtained a certificate from the Faculty of Medical Studies in Bratislava on qualification to perform certified occupational activity – occupational health service. in 2005 she obtained from Health Care Surveillance Authority certification to perform examination of a dead body. She is a member of Slovak Medical Chamber, Private Doctors` Association of the Slovak Republic as well as the Slovak Society of General Practice. Since 2007 she has worked as doctor for medical inspections to assess health condition of the employees of DFN (Children Hospital), RUVZ (Public Health Authority), VUSCH a.s. (East Slovak Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases) and in 3rd and 4th category she works under supervision of a professional guarantor of Medison s.r.o. Since 2014 she has had a position of a university teacher – assistant of general medical practice at LF UPJŠ in Košice. Since 2016 she has been a guarantor of an accredited specialized study discipline within medical profession of a doctor in a specialized discipline of general medical practice. in 2018 she was awarded a tribute letter for the work and contribution to the faculty development. in 2021 she successfully participated in the tender organized by LF UPJŠ for the position of a pedagogical teacher – lecturer within practical instructions at the teaching base in the general practitioner`s office for adult patients in 1 Tr. SNP in Košice. She continues to work in this position.
