Mgr. Daniela Fiľakovská, Ph.D. née Bobáková completed her doctoral studies at the Dutch Medical Center Groningen in the field of "Health sciences". Her professional interests focus on the social determinants of the health of vulnerable groups of the population (currently mainly in marginalized Roma communities) using participatory and mixed (quantitative and qualitative) research methods. She is the coordinator of several successful national projects focused on health in marginalized Roma communities (APVV, VEGA, TAČR) and a member of several research teams in national and international research projects (H2020 RIVER-EU, FP7 SOPHIE). He participates in the development of a research program within the cooperation between the University of Groningen and UPJŠ in Košice. As part of her expert activities, she was and is a member of several working groups related to the fulfillment of tasks arising from the Strategy for Equality, Inclusion and Participation of the Roma.
