Mgr. Diana Tokárová, PhD., is an assistant professor at the Department of Medical Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. During her doctoral studies, as well as at her ongoing work, she is focused on sleep medicine research. She participated in the several projects. She is currently working on the project IPMVDCov - Design and implementation of advanced methods of ventilation treatment and diagnosis of viral pneumonias, including Covid-19 with the possibility of their rapid adoption. She is the author/co-author of scientific articles and abstracts published in domestic and foreign journals. She teaches Medical Physiology the general medicine students and also the students of Bachelor's studies.
