RNDr. Hedviga Kosuthova PhD. doctoral studies in the field of Genetics and master's studies in the field of Biology - Cellular Molecular Biology and Genetics, she graduated from the Faculty of Science, UPJŠ in Košice. She subsequently worked at the same workplace as an assistant professor resp. researcher focusing on plant biotechnology and genetics. During his doctoral studies and in the following period at the workplace, she participates in the solution of several foreign, domestic and internal grants (APVV-0040-10; APVV-LPP-0015-07, APVV-0321-07, APVT-20-003704, VVCE-0001 -07, VEGA 1/0049/08, VEGA 1/2326/05, VVGS PF 7/2011 / B, VVGS PF 6/2009 / B, VVGS UPJS 18 / 08-07). Among her pedagogical activities, she focused mainly on leading exercises in Plant Biotechnology and Genetics, as well as the subject of Plant Gene Manipulation and leading bachelor's and master's theses. After her parental leave, she joined the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy where she solves the VEGA 1/0103/16 project focused on the antitumor effects of brassins, leading exercises of Pharmacology and Free Radicals and master's and rigorous thesis. Since 2020, she has been working within the OPENMED project at the Associated Tissue Bank of the Faculty of Medicine UPJŠ and participates in solving tasks focused on the development of cell and cell-free therapy in the treatment of musculoskeletal and other diseases.
