RNDr. Ivana Večurkovská, PhD. works as a young talented researcher at the Department of Medical and Clinical Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ in Košice. Her main work is scientific and publishing activity, and she specializes in the analysis of new diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers of cancer using several laboratory methods. As part of her teaching activities, she conducts practical exercises in medicinal chemistry, chemistry of dental materials and medical biochemistry for Slovak and foreign medical students.
