Project APVV -16-0176 Targeted modulation of intestinal microbiota and its transplantation in the prevention and therapy of intestinal inflammatory diseases. The intestinal microbiota plays a very important role in regulating the body's physiological functions, promoting health and preventing disease. The TRANSMIKROB project hypothesis is based on the assumption that dysbiosis, which leads to inflammation and metabolic disorders, plays a very important role in the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel diseases. Targeted modulation of the intestinal microbiota of a patient with inflammatory bowel disease by modulation using the Human Intestinal Microbial Ecosystem Simulator and feedback to the same patient can significantly contribute to the prevention and treatment of intestinal inflammatory diseases by modifying its composition and function. Based on the timely individual characteristics of the intestinal microbiome, the possibilities of preventive targeted modulation will also be studied. The project will bring new knowledge about the role of intestinal microbiota and new and more effective procedures in the prevention and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases. Project VEGA 1/0519/18 Isolation and advanced characterization of new probiotic microorganisms with potential for application in biomedicine and biotechnologies. The aim of the project is also to perform an advanced study of the Lactobacillus plantarum strain LS / 07 with proven anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects - analysis of the genome and secreted proteome using advanced molecular biological techniques. The planned characterization of this strain is necessary to assess its safety for human use. Deputy researcher |
Project Drives 4Food NFP313010S984 Novel functional foods to support human health Development of functional foods and nutritional supplements of a new type with targeted biological effectiveness in order to prevent health and improve the quality of life of the human population Project partner |
Functional foods for a healthy life OPVaI-MH / DP / 2017 / 1.2.2-13 The submitted project will be implemented on the basis of effective cooperation between the Applicant TEKMAR SLOVAKIA and the Partner Pavel Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The project includes industrial research in the field of human nutrition and innovation activities. The place of implementation is Nitra and Košice. The aim of the project is to create recipes with optimal nutrient composition that will meet the requirements of the population aged 45+. The aim of the project is to develop products with a balanced optimal amount of nutrients, each of which will contain its specific functional component, which will be characterized by its positive effect on the physiological functions of the organism. In the innovation part, the purchase of a new line and packaging equipment for the production of new products will be realized. Thanks to the implementation of the project, 10 new products will be launched on the market, 1 new process will be innovated and 10 intellectual property objects will be registered.
