Lucia Bosáková received her doctorate in Economics (University of Economics in Bratislava) and Health sciences (University of Groningen). She works as a senior researcher at the Department of Health Psychology and Research Methodology (Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ). Her research focuses on the socioeconomic determinants of health and socioeconomic inequalities in health. She is an expert in innovative methods in the research of social determinants of health (Concept mapping). She is a head of DIPEx Slovakia. She is also a member of the international and national HBSC network. She has participated in several national (APVV, VEGA) and international projects (H2020 RIVER; H2020 Euro-healthy, FP7 SOPHIE, etc.). She also cooperated with the WHO Europe on a study on the bottom up approach to employment of marginalized groups.
