MUDr. Lucia Vaszilyová, PhD. is an assistant professor and physician at the 2nd Department of Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ and VÚSCH., a.s. in Košice. She is a graduate of doctoral studies in the field of internal medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ. She is currently in pre-certification training in the field of cardiology. In addition to the work of a physician at the 2nd Department of Cardiology, she is engaged in pedagogical activities. Namely, teaching internal propaedeutics and internal medicine in the doctoral program of general medicine and dentistry, teaching foreign students - including the supervision of diploma theses. She is a member of the Slovak Society of Cardiology, the Slovak Society of Internal Medicine and the Slovak Association of Atherosclerosis.
