Doc. MVDr. Martina Bago Pilátová, Ph.D. works as an associate professor at the Department of Pharmacology at the UPJŠ Faculty of Medicine in Košice. She is a co-guarantor of the doctoral study program in medical pharmacology in the field of pharmacy. She has supervised 12 successfully defended diploma theses and was the supervisor of 2 successfully completed doctoral students and a consultant for 3 successfully defended doctoral thesis in the study program Pharmacology. She is currently a supervisor of 3 doctoral students, 2 of whom are after the minimum exam. As part of her research, she focuses on the antiproliferative effect of natural substances and their synthetic derivatives, focusing on the study of their possible mechanism of action. She is constantly involved in solving projects in the given area as a responsible solver and co-solver, a complete overview can be found on the website of the department in the Research section. She is the author or co-author of 72 full-text scientific and professional publications published in domestic and foreign journals, 45 of which are registered in CC, WoS or Scopus databases, which have been cited more than 483 times in WoS / Scopus citation indexes. As a co co-author, she has participated in the preparation of textbooks for medical and pharmaceutical students.
