Co-investigator of subactivity 1.2: Výskumná agentúra MŠ SR - project: AKARDIO COVID-19: Analysis of cardiovascular and immune response of COVID-19 patiens after recovery with focus on research of new diagnostic markers and therapeutic approaches Principal investigator of subactivity 1.2: doc. RNDr. Ján Sabo, CSc., mim. prof. (Analysis of proteome cell changes of the immune system of COVID-19 patients after recovery) Brief description of the project: Blood provides a dynamic reflection of physiological and pathological condition. Leukocytes constantly perfusing the human body encompass a protein-rich information encoded in quantity and quality of proteins. Pathogenesis and progression of infectious disease are associated with leukocyte-derived proteins. Analysis of proteome cell changes of leukocytes after SARS-CoV-2 infection may be utilized on evaluation of the efficacy of new developed vaccines. |
