doc. Mgr. Peter Urban, PhD. has been working since 2009 at the Department of Medical and Clinical Biochemistry UPJŠ in Košice, Faculty of Medicine, where he has been an associate professor since 2018. He is the author or co-author of more than 48 original scientific (31 in CC, WoS or Scopus, Hi 8) and professional papers published in foreign and domestic journals, textbooks, books and monographs, as well as 52 abstracts of papers from foreign and domestic conferences. His articles have more than 200 citations registered in WoS / Scopus citation indexes. He is the chief researcher of one VEGA project as well as the responsible solver of several VEGA, KEGA, APVV, SF EU projects. He is a supervisor and opponent of multiple PhD. and diploma students.
