Assoc. Prof. Rastislav Dudič, MD, PhD, MHA serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University, and Louis Pasteur University Hospital in Košice, Slovakia, where he leads the high-risk pregnancy outpatient clinic and holds the position of Head Physician of the High-Risk Pregnancy Unit. He graduated in General Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine in Košice in 2012 (MD). In 2016, he obtained his PhD in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the same institution. In 2024, he was appointed Associate Professor (habilitation) and simultaneously completed a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA). He completed his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2017 at the Faculty of Medicine, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University. In 2022, he obtained an additional certification in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Martin. In June 2025, he successfully completed subspecialty certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava. He expanded his clinical expertise through several international fellowships and observerships, including in Ústí nad Labem and Prague (Czech Republic) and Graz (Austria). His clinical focus is on the management of high-risk pregnancies and prenatal diagnosis. In addition to perinatology, he is actively involved in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, particularly laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures. He is actively engaged in teaching and research, regularly delivering lectures, teaching clinical subjects, and supervising residents and medical students. Since 2026, he has also served as an expert consultant to the Healthcare Surveillance Authority.
