Prof. MVDr. Tatiana Kimáková, PhD. is a university teacher at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, at the Faculty of Medicine, working at the Deparment of Public Health and Hygiene. She was born in Košice, in the family of dermatovenerologist doc. MUDr. Michal Šak, CSc. Her professional and scientific activity includes more than 450 different papers, she presented contributions at more than 160 professional and scientific events at home and abroad, she has more than 320 citations. She is the co-author of eight university textbooks, four scientific and two professional monographs. She is a supervisor of several bachelor's, master's and PhD. theses on the topic of lifestyle and selected non-communicable diseases. She is a guarantor by the Department of Medicine at the University of the Third Age in Košice at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.

Awarding of the medal on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the University of the Third Age in Košice (Conference 25 years of senior education, 28 November 2017, the medal was awarded by Prof. Stanislav Kmeť, CSc., Rector of the Technical University in Košice). Special prize for 2nd place in the poster section during the conference Days of Practical Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome (July 16, 2020 - July 18, 2020, Demänovská Valley).
