Doc. Mgr. Zuzana Dankulincova, PhD. née Veselská (1981) is an associate professor of social psychology dedicated to building research in the field of health psychology and public health with her current focus on mental health of adolescents, improvement of system of care for adolescents with mental health problems and qualitative research of people’s personal experiences of health and illness. Since 2016, she has been participating in the development of the Youth and Health research program within the cooperation between the University of Groningen and UPJŠ in Košice. She has been a researcher, principal investigator or coordinator of several cross-sectional and longitudinal studies and is currently working on the use of participatory and mixed (quantitative and qualitative) methodology in her research. Within the Health Behaviour in School-aged Children Study (HBSC), she holds the position of Deputy Principal Investigator of the Slovak national HBSC team. She is also member of the Slovak national DIPEx team and the national delegate of the European Health Psychology Society for Slovakia. She has 72 scientific papers registered in the Scopus and WoS databases, which recorded more than 1191 citations, and her h-index excluding self-citations is 18.
