After successfully completing my studies at the UPJŠ Medical Faculty in Košice in 2013, I was accepted for a full-time doctoral study in the field of internal diseases at IV. internal clinic UPJŠ LF. In 2016, I switched to an external form of study in connection with the position of assistant professor at the same workplace, where I defended my dissertation in August 2017, in which I analyzed the influence of selected gene variants on subclinical atherosclerosis in peripheral arteries in type 2 diabetics. . During this work, I got acquainted in detail with examination methods such as IMT, PWV or ABI measurements. Together with my colleagues, I have research participation in several grant projects (VEGA, APVV) and internal grants. The results of the joint research were published in the form of scientific papers, where I am the author and co-author of more than 25 publications, 4 of them in CC journals. I strive for active participation in scientific events at home and abroad every year. As an assistant professor, I devoted myself to pedagogical activities in Slovak and English and at the same time worked as a secondary doctor in wards IV. internal clinic, where I plan to return after maternity leave.
