Associate professor at the Institute of Physics, Department of Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics. She works in the field of relativistic nuclear collisions research. In the 1990s, she was a member of the international EMU01 collaboration, which investigated nuclear-nuclear collisions using a photoemulsion detector. She has also worked on the NA57 experiment at CERN, and is currently participating in the ALICE experiment at CERN, which focuses on the study of quark - gluon plasma. She is giving lectures in General Physics, Subnuclear Physics and Applied Nuclear Physics. Since 2005 is the organizer and co-organizer of the international event for high school students Masterclasses - Hands on Particle Physics, distance courses focused on elementary particle physics and other popularization activities.
