Definition of the content of the field of habilitation proceeding and inauguration proceeding

The Field of Habilitation and Inauguration Proceedings includes the following knowledge, skills and competences:

a) mastering knowledge from the parts of literary science: history of literature, theory of literature, literary criticism and methodology of literary science,

b) cultivation of interpretational skills in dealing with literary texts and written documents from various communication spheres,

c) analysis, interpretation and editions of texts of literary works and memories of cultural history,

d) literary translation,

e) didactics of literature.

The scope of the Field of Habilitation and Inauguration Proceedings includes the following disciplines: theory and history of concrete national literatures, Slovak language and literature, Slavic languages and literatures, non-Slavic languages and literatures, oriental languages and literatures, classical languages, foreign languages and cultures, translation and interpretation studies; and also knowledge from other philological fields and related philological disciplines.
