Field of Habilitation and Inauguration Proceedings
The field of habilitation and inauguration proceedings, theory and history of the state and law, is defined by the study of relatively uniform categories and organizational forms of the modern state (the rule of law and its institutions of legal protection), including its international, constitutional and comparative dimensions, by systematic observation and study of law in all its phenomenal forms, including the dogmatics of law (in all forms of decision-making activities of public authorities). An integral part of this is the scholarly focus on the knowledge and historical-legal exegesis of basic legal institutes closely linked to the continental system of law.
The field of habilitation and inauguration proceedings, theory and history of state and law, is defined as a structural (analytical) and methodological theoretical legal discipline, which is prior to legal philosophy. It also aims at exploring the axiological content of law, especially justice, its sociological aspects, the formulation of a theory of legal language, legal rhetoric, legal logic, the theory of legal argumentation, legal cybernetics and informatics, as well as a feminist theory of law, and also at exploring the alternative of combining a non-positivist doctrine of law with a general theory of law, as well as a proper analysis and historical-legal comparison of the Roman-legal institutes of private and public law within the study of Roman law, the history of private law in old Hungary up to the current current private law regulation.
